LPC - Lithuanian Professionals in Copenhagen

Last weekend LPC members Jurgita, Giedrius, Dainius and Lukas visited our friends Lithuanian Professionals Club in Switzerland on their first gathering, which took place at The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN).
Giedrius: “Thanks to a global LPC network we spent last weekend in Geneva where we met really interesting people and learnt about particle physics from CERN scientists themselves.”
Lukas: “It is great seeing clubs of Lithuanian professionals opening in more and more countries, to have this unique opportunity to meet active leaders of Lithuanian diaspora and to combine it with a visit to one of the leading scientific research organizations.”

LPC - Lithuanian Professionals in Copenhagen
Last Saturday we had the LPC Day - an event to plan our activities for 2019.

It was a lot of fun during the workshops and the breaks in between, as well as during the game of petanque in the evening. We generated many ideas and transformed the most promising ones into initiatives for 2019. All together, we are taking steps to develop the club further and realise our ambitions.

The main focus areas for next year will be:
- Cooperate with art and culture organisations to improve connection between Lithuania and Denmark
- Promote a discussion about double citizenship for Lithuanians in relation to the upcoming referendum
- Share experiences and knowledge between LPC members
- Meet interesting and well-known professionals
- Organise more team-building and networking activities with other Lithuanian professional clubs

Many thanks go to event contributors:
Lietuvos ambasada Danijoje l Lithuanian Embassy Copenhagen and our ambassador Gintė Damušytė for hosting the LPC Day.
Everyone who participated and contributed with great ideas and suggestions.
Lukas, Aurelija, Tomas, Laurynas and Dalia for taking the lead to coordinate the next years initiatives.
Eri for a yummy lunch.
Agnė for a delicious cake.
Ignas for logistical support.
